When i tried updating with my laptop (WMP10) everything worked fine.
Creative Zen Micro V0 0.65 Upgrade It ToThe firmware currently on it is 2.11.02 and the version I am trying to upgrade it to is 2.21.02 (Creative Zen Micro PlaysForSure Firmware update 2.21.02).I am presented with the following screen attached to this post.I dont know if your player is currently non-playsforsure but if so, maybe you need the driver installed. I have a Zen Micro myself because I feel its more functional than the iPod. First ask them nicely if they can send you a replacement once your ship it because you need it right away for a trip in the next few weeks. I still highly recommend it, and sometimes prefer it over my zen vision:m. ![]() If you are using an older operating system (windows 2000) then you will have to find a computer with XP sp1 or2 and switch the firmware version to the 1.11.01 firmware (non-mtp firmware). If this doesnt work, then you need to go into recovery mode on your player and reformat the drive. ![]() While holding the switch, place the battery into back into the player. Clean up and reformat the drive, then try connecting the player to your computer. Its still giving me the Your player is not connected, please connect your player. I cleaned up and reformatted. I plugged it back it and I hear the windows device connect noise. I goto the firmware updater and it gives me that message listed above.:(. ![]() I did something in the recovery console and now I get a error Firmware Problem lol. Do you have a installation cd or something that might work Then I can try the firmware upgrade. Feel free to reinstall WMP11 after you complete the firmware upgrade though.
